Lean Manufacturing

Lean manufacturing is a systematic method for the elimination of waste within all manufacturing processes. Lean also takes into account waste created through overburden and waste created through load imbalance. At its core, lean is centered on making obvious what adds value by reducing everything else.  In addition to waste elimination, lean manufacturing seeks to provide optimum customer value by building in quality at the source of manufacture.
